Information for tenants
Moving in
We have a standard moving in procedure for new tenants, which uses an easy application process. Please follow the below steps to apply for a property:
1. Apply
Use the application form to apply for the property that you are interested in
2. Documents
Send a copy of your ID, proof of income, and proof of current address to our email
3. Approval
Wait for the application to be approved, we aim to do this as quickly as possible
4. Pay deposit
Transfer a deposit of two week’s rent within 48 hours to secure the property
5. Pay the bond
Pay the bond plus the remainder of the deposit (another two week’s rent) before the move-in date
6. Move in
Pick up the keys and move in from the agreed tenancy start date. Make sure to document the state of the property when moving in.
Moving Out
1. Give notice
Let us know what day you want to move, at least 1 month in advance
2. Settle rent
Make sure to settle all outstanding rent until the end of your tenancy before moving
3. Empty & Clean
Leave the apartment how you found it; any costs for cleaning and removals will be deducted from the bond
4. Hand back keys
Return the keys to us and we will do a final inspection of the property
5. Bond returned
Your bond will be returned minus outstanding rent, cost for cleaning, damage or removals
Lost keys
In the unfortunate situation that you have locked yourself out or have lost your keys, we have a spare copy to let you back in. Please note that we are not always able to provide a spare key instantly and that this process might take some time. For new keys outside of normal office hours there is a $50 charge to have them replaced.
